• stretch marks
• skin laxity
• scarring (Burns, acne or chicken pox)
Medical Needling involves a hand held skin roller that has around 200 fine surgical steel needles at 1mm in length. It's applied directly to the skin in a crisscross motion.
For the medical grade level application of skin needling, the target of the needles and penetration is the upper dermis. The objective is to stimulate and puncture the horney layer of the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production, smooth skin and promote scar or stretch mark reduction through the skins natural wound healing process as well as improve penetration of skin care products.
Performed by Dr. Venter in the clinic, for best results, a series of six needling sessions should be done at intervals ranging from one week to one month, depending on the degree of improvement that is required.
